There is a new (as of Wednesday) reference tool for finding hospitals with a social media presence. Yes, really. It is free, and it is from Mayo Clinic, as a new and revised version of the tool previously maintained by Ed Bennett.
You can sort the main gridded lists by any column, from Blog to Youtube! You can also search in a variety of ways:
– State (example: Michigan)
– City (example: Ann Arbor)
– Institution (example: University of Michigan Health System)
Michigan comes out fairly well ranked, as a state, ranking 6 out of the 50 possible.
The top ranked states for number of hospitals involved in social media, out of a total of 1501, are:
