Enriching Scholarship: Mimi Ito’s Keynote, LiveTweeted

Mimi Ito just presented this years keynote for #ES10 also known as Enriching Scholarship 2010 at the University of Michigan. She presented a lot of classic YouTube videos showing the evolution of standards and innovation in the remix & lipsync culture in those spaces, as well as later extending these concepts into the realms of roleplay and other social online spaces. Most important were the potential of lessons learned from engagement with these spaces for making “traditional” education more effective in reaching its desired outcomes. Here is the Twitter stream from the presentation, courtesy of the wonderful tool What The Hashtag.
